Cotton Price OutlookCotton prices hit an over decade-high in May, boosted by poor weather conditions in India, which hurt output. In May, cotton prices averaged USD 145.0 cents per metric ton, which was up 3.2% from April's price and was 70.8% higher than in the same month last year. Meanwhile, on 31 May, cotton traded at USD 139.0 cents per pound, which was 8.8% lower than on the same day of the previous month.
